An in-home session

The Lieb’s have welcomed their first beautiful baby boy to their family. I arrived to their home welcomed by their cheery personalities and curious, adorable kitties saying hello! We also laughed because Mike had accidentally gotten his pants dirty right before I arrived and was desperately trying to wash them clean. Luckily he had a backup!

Throughout the newborn session, I chatted with Brittney and Mike and we talked about our love for hiking and exploring the outdoors. I could immediately tell they were outdoors people by the mountain and forrest theme nursery. It was so beautiful and felt so perfect for little Otto and their family.

As I captured Otto’s newborn photos, they listened to punk/rock covers made as soothing nursery songs. It was awesome and we had fun guessing what each of the songs were as a new one came on.

After lots of snuggles with mom and dad, we ended the session trying to include Stella and Stewie (their cute kitties). I absolutely LOVE documenting kitties because I have one of my own! Stewie was the only one that wanted to get close to Otto (you know how cats are haha) and it’s my favorite kitty photo I’ve taken!
