What to expect.
I'll help you feel beautiful in your postpartum body and document every adorable detail of your newborn
Receive your images through a gallery link within 4 weeks with full print rights. You’ll be able to save and download your images, (in high resolution or for social media posting) purchase prints or design your own album, and download your gallery as a mobile app on your phone for easy access and sharing!

After planning and coordinating the location and personalized details of your session, we'll be ready to make some magic!

You'll pay a 50% booking fee and sign a contract to reserve a spot on the calendar with me. And I'll send you a questionnaire to help us start planning your session!

I don't own a studio, but there are local Des Moines studio spaces I recommend that have amazing lighting that can be rented for $100/hr. Or, the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden ($35 surcharge) is another indoor option. After you book and select a date I would need to check availability with the studios or Botanical Garden to coordinate schedules.
Do you have a studio?
You are allowed 1 reschedule for any reason. Sometimes babies arrive much earlier or later than expected and we need to adjust the session date if it was scheduled in advance. If you need to reschedule a second time, you would need to pay an additional 50% retainer to hold a new date.
What if we need to reschedule our session?
I believe in embracing your bodies exactly as they are. I'll generally edit out minor scrapes or bruises if requested or noticable, however, my goal is to capture your real and authentic selves at whatever phase of life you're in.
Can you photoshop images?
We'll always try to go with the brightest rooms in your home since this will result in the best quality image and stay close to windows. If your home is exceptionally dark, we can always rent a local studio space or schedule a family session to photograph outside.

We certainly can! I'm happy to personalize your session and include fur babies in your photos if they are up for it and safe around new visitors! They are family too!
Can we include props or pets?
I require a non-refundable 50% booking fee and signed contract to reserve a spot on the calendar with me. All payments are made online through HoneyBook. Remaining payments are due 3 days before your session date.
How does payment work?
Typically, I photograph within 1 hour from Norwalk, IA. 30 miles of travel is included. Locations beyond 30 miles are subject to a tiered travel fee based on distance.
How far do you travel?
I have a wonderful Newborn Guide that will be provided to you after booking. It will help you prepare for your session and provide several tips and recommendations on what to wear and even where to shop if your closet isn't enough! If needed, you can always email me any questions or photos and I'll provide feedback or helpful tips!
