I believe in capturing the tender moments and emotions that come with growing a baby with your partner and family, so you won’t see many camera aware images in your gallery. You’ll simply, relax, have fun and soak it all in.

Receive your images through a gallery link within 4 weeks with full print rights. You’ll be able to save and download your images, (in high resolution or for social media posting) purchase prints or design your own album, and download your gallery as a mobile app on your phone for easy access and sharing!

Your Des Moines, Iowa family photographer and guide to a unique experience

I don't own a studio, but there are local Des Moines studio spaces I recommend that have amazing lighting that can be rented for $100/hr. Or, the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden ($35 surcharge) is another indoor option. After you book and select a date I would need to check availability with the studios or Botanical Garden to coordinate schedules.

Do you have a studio?

You are allowed 1 reschedule for any reason. If you need to reschedule a second time (unrelated to inclement weather), you would need to pay an additional 50% retainer to hold a new date.

What if we need to reschedule our session?

No. I believe in embracing your bodies exactly as they are. I'll generally edit out minor scrapes, blemishes or bruises if requested or noticeable, however, my goal is to capture your real and authentic selves at whatever phase of life you're in.

Can you photoshop images?

If it rains, sleets or whatever else midwest weather throws at us that is unsafe or unsuitable for a session, I will absolutely work with you to reschedule.

If we are outdoors or in your home we certainly can! I'm happy to personalize your session and include adorable fur babies in your photos. Select locations like the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden do not allow props or pets.

Can we include props or pets?

I require a non-refundable 50% booking fee and signed contract to reserve a spot on the calendar with me. All payments are made online through HoneyBook. Remaining payments are due 3 days before your session date.

How does payment work?

Typically, I photograph within 1 hour from Norwalk, IA. 30 miles of travel is included. Locations beyond 30 miles are subject to a tiered travel fee based on distance.

How far do you travel?

I have a wonderful Maternity Guide that will be provided to you after booking. It will help you prepare for your session, choose a location and provide several tips and recommendations on what to wear and even where to shop if your closet isn't enough! If needed, you can always email me any questions or photos and I'll provide feedback or helpful tips!
